VINTAGE 1980s CAROLEE SIGNED LUSTROUS 2 STRANDS LAYERED IMITATION PEARL NECKLACE & SPARKLING RHINESTONE FAUX PEARL EARRINGS CAROL LEE

Carolee is known for her beautiful necklaces and earrings and has been a favorite of mine for decades. She started her business in the '70s at her kitchen table in Connecticut which grew to a very large business by selling her jewelry in the best department stores everywhere.

This stunning vintage 1980s Carolee imitation 2 strand pearl layered necklace is glossy and beautiful!

The necklace is made out of large pears and a row of a bit smaller size pearls. They are so glossy and have a beautiful sheen to them. The longest strand measures nearly 14" while the shorter strand is nearly 12". There is an adjustable chain that is 3" and a plate with the Carolee name which is included as well as a copyright symbol. Metal gold-tone slim plate on the end of either side of the necklace with what looks like 3 gold roses on each plate. From the gold plate on the side with the chain measures a little over 4". On the back plate of the necklace, the Carolee name is included as well as a copyright symbol. The plate on the other side has matching roses on it with the fish hook closure. Because of the extra chain at the end, the necklace can be easily adjusted with the sturdy curved fish hook.

I have included a pair of vintage clip on earrings in gold tone with imitation pearls and rhinestones. The earrings remind me of snowflakes and the rhinestones in the them are absolutely gorgeous with the brilliant sparkle they throw off. The earrings go well with the necklace although they are not by Carolee and are not marked.

The necklace and earrings would look beautiful with a dress, evening gown or sweater and would make a wonderful gift for someone!

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower. Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it. The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
