*FROM MY OWN PERSONAL VINTAGE COLLECTION - STUNNNING VINTAGE SPARKLING RHINESTONES, IRIDESCENT SEQUINS & PEARLS ENCRUSTED EVENING TOP FROM HONG KONG IN LILY PAD WITH METAL ZIPPER

A gorgeous vintage heavily sequined evening top from hong kong with a metal zipper from my own personal collection

There are hundreds of sparkling iridescent sequins on the sweater-based evening top - it is heavy with sequins - a fabulous green shade called lily pad - tiny white beads, prong set rhinestones, pearls & large faceted beads adorn the neckline, around the sleeve openings & bottom of the top

There is tag inside that says “hand decorated in hong kong” - these tops come from the late ‘50s / ‘60s - although this top has been in my collection, i have never worn it although someone else probably had the pleasure to do so - long color-coordinated metal zipper in back which zips all the way down to the bottom with a hook & eye at the top - completely lined in a silky lining against your skin

This absolutely gorgeous vintage evening top will look fabulous with an evening skirt, cocktail dress or over an evening gown for a cruise or any formal affair - it sparkles brilliantly under evening lights!

By: no mfg tag but a tag that says “100% wool“ & “hand decorated in hong kong“
Size: medium but go by the measurements for a good fit
Bust: 44 - 48 stretched

Fabric: 100% wool & it is sequins over a light sweater fabric with a silky lining
Care: no tag
Condition: very good - there are some sequins & beads missing & some loose but the majority are there & adding some from the bottom of the back would be an easy fix but i would forget it as no one would ever notice the few missing - former owner took up a bit of the lining by hand around the shoulder area & she did a pretty good job - you could let it out if you wish but i would just leave it as no one can see it

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
