VINTAGE NATORI SAKS FIFTH AVENUE SATINY PEIGNOIR WITH FABULOUS FLORAL EMBROIDERY

An absolutely beautiful vintage satiny wrap robe by Natori, one of my favorite designers.  Natori's robes and nightgowns from previous decades surpasses most lingerie made today.  Natori has always designed and manufactured high-end robes and nightgowns and sold them at the finest stores.  One does not see the quality in lingerie today like in the 1950s through 1990s.  Also if it comes from Saks Fifth Avenue, you can be assured that it will be gorgeous!

The robe is in a pink shade much prettier than my photos.  It was very difficult for the camera to capture the colors of this robe as no sooner would I adjust one of the colors and it would make the other colors the wrong shades.  Luscious pink satiny fabric will glide over one's body with a fabulous feel.  The real life colors of baby pink, deep peach and mint green embroidery are much prettier than shown in the photos.

The robe is a heavier satiny fabric with a wonderful weight to it.  Beautiful floral appliques adorn the bodice of the robe with stitched embroidery surrounding the appliques.  Falling embroidered leaves are scattered on the bodice as well as the sleeves along with beautiful flowers.  Luscious lace around the shawl collar, down the front and on the ends of the sleeves.  I love the soft pleats on the top of the shoulders with removable shoulder pads underneath for shaping.  There is a satiny matching belt with loops as well as inside ties for a good fit.  2 pockets in the seams.  The satin robe’s interior reveals the fabric’s own velvety‑soft cotton backing reminiscent of the finest, lightest flannel enveloping the skin in a naturally plush and indulgent touch.

This is such a glamorous robe that I am considering keeping it for myself as Natori is my favorite designer for sleepwear as I am sure I am never going to see another one as pretty as this again.  It is exquisitely made. You just don't see robes like this nowadays!

Size: Small and should fit several sizes since it is a wrap robe.  I wear a Size 10 & it fit me but not larger but small would be able to wear it but go by the measurements for a good fit

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements. We hope you enjoy what you purchased but we know sometimes things do not fit quite as you would like or the color is wrong.  In that case, we do allow one exchange or a store credit on any item that you want. There are about 2,000 items in the store and more are being added all the time so you have a large selection to choose from.

You must email before returning an item so I can give you the information that you need to exchange the item.

International customer have 14 days to contact Midnight Glamour about returning an item if they should want to.  International customers may have to pay be additional customs and import taxes and there maybe unforeseen customs delays.
