VINTAGE OLGA HOLLYWOOD STYLE PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SET IN PEACHES 'N DREAMS

A luscious vintage Olga spandex lace grand sweep Hollywood‑style peignoir and nightgown set in Peaches ’N Dreams. The color is a soft, feminine peach adorned with white and peach spandex lace. The lace travels from the neckline down to the waist, and the sleeves hug the wrists for a graceful finish. Two covered buttons close the lace waist. The peignoir has Olga’s Hollywood back with the attached nylon band that encircles the waist and allows the back to fall in a full, flowing sweep.

The white and peach lace at the neckline continues around to the back and forms a lovely V. The white lace has a peach ribbon effect woven through the center, giving the appearance of a threaded ribbon. Both the peignoir and the nightgown carry the very early “Behind Every Olga There Really Is an Olga” label found on Olga’s earliest sets.

The matching nightgown has the same scalloped white and peach spandex lace down the front in a V shape. Over 157 inches—more than 13 feet—of silky, creamy nylon swirl around your legs when you walk. A long satin ribbon bow sits beneath the lace. The back of the nightgown is gently scooped and wide for a beautiful drape.

Peignoir

Size 32 but should fit other sizes, so go by the measurements. 
Style 9726. 
Bust around 34 inches with stretch.

Nightgown
Olga Secret Hug with the same early label. Size 32. 
Style 3726. 
Bust 37 inches unstretched. 
Underbust 28 to 45 inches due to elastic. 
Length 55 inches. 
Fabric:  Nylon. Machine wash and dry. 
Condition is very good. The hem is out on the nightgown and about 1½ inches of side seam at the hemline has come undone in two places. A dry cleaner can easily re‑hem it if desired, though it is so far down that it is not noticeable when worn. There is a bit of excess elastic under the bust which can be knotted and trimmed, but I will leave it as is in case someone needs the extra stretch.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
