80S NAH NAH COLLECTION 2-PIECE EVENING OUTFIT - IVORY BROCADE PEARL BEADED JACKET FLOOR LENGTH SKIRT

$ 375.00

Exquisite vintage 1980s two-piece evening ensemble by Nah Nah Collection featuring an ivory brocade jacket with spectacular pearl and sequin appliqués paired with a flowing floor-length nylon chiffon skirt. This breathtaking set exemplifies the glamorous, opulent styling of 1980s formal wear.

The Jacket:

Crafted in luxurious ivory brocade with substantial weight and beautiful texture, this stunning jacket showcases elaborate miniature pearl and clear sequin appliqués throughout the bodice—some appliques measuring up to 2-1/2" across for dramatic impact. The modified sweetheart neckline features horizontal wide ruched chiffon-like nylon that creates romantic texture and visual interest.

The open chest area is designed to reveal skin framed beautifully by the surrounding pearl and sequin appliqués and horizontal sheer ruched nylon chiffon for an alluring yet sophisticated look. Four dome-shaped pearl buttons (dime-sized) provide closure down the front. Flattering princess seaming both front and back creates a tailored, feminine silhouette with a gracefully rounded hemline at the front bottom.

The substantial brocade fabric requires no lining allowing the beautiful texture to shine through while maintaining structure and coverage.

The Skirt:

Full floor-length nylon chiffon skirt that flows beautifully with every movement. Fully lined with a substantial silky fabric for comfort and opacity. Convenient elastic waist ensures easy wear and flexible fit.

Perfect For: Informal weddings, vow renewals, elegant cruises, formal galas, upscale evening events, mother-of-the-bride/groom occasions or any event requiring sophisticated formal attire.

A show-stopping ensemble that captures the glamour and elegance of 1980s evening wear—perfect for making a memorable entrance!

Size:  Tag says 14 but that is vintage sizing so go by the measurements as measurements have changed over the  years.  I do not think this would fit today's size 14 - probably more like a size 10 -small 12 but go by the measurements for a good fit.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
