* VINTAGE EVE STILLMAN BLACK VELOUR ROBE WITH WHITE PUFFY SATINY AND LACE COLLAR AND CUFFS

The Eve Stillman brand was known for exquisite robes and other lingerie and were sold at very up scale stores in the 60s / 70s. They were known for their high quality and beautiful unique items.

The black velour fabric on the robe is thick and has a wonderful soft feel to it. It will be wonderful wearing this robe over one's vintage nightgowns. The white satiny collar has a subtle design of flowers, leaves and streams of ribbons surrounded by lovely lace. There is light batting in the collar to give it a bit of puffiness. The collar is tacked down in a couple of places so the batting does not shift and the collar remains exactly where is should be. The cuffs on the ends of the sleeves are out of the same white satiny fabric and they are also padded with betting to give it a plush feel. Lace trim on them as well. There is a 34" invisible zipper down the front so it is easy to get into and take off. Two pockets in the side seams. A 12" slit on the lower front for ease in walking.

This was an expensive robe years ago and you tell what good quality it still is today. This would make a lovely Christmas or birthday gift for someone who loves vintage or for yourself!

Size: Large & would probably fit other sizes but go by the measurements for a good fit

Bust: 42 all the way around - will accommodate a bit more depending on how tight the tie is tied at the waist & how much you overlap the front

Length: 53 - 54 and it looks as though someone may have turned the hem up as the hem inside is 2-1/2" appx and I could feel the hem inside of the turned up hem. So if you need the robe longer, it could be let down for another 2 - 2-1/2" in length.
Fabric: Acetate, Nylon, Rayon velour
Care: Dry clean
Condition: Very good - no pilling inside - looks as though it may not have been worn or worn very little.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements. We hope you enjoy what you purchased but we know sometimes things do not fit quite as you would like or the color is wrong.  In that case, we do allow one exchange or a store credit on any item that you want. There are about 2,000 items in the store and more are being added all the time so you have a large selection to choose from.

You must email before returning an item so I can give you the information that you need to exchange the item.

International customer have 14 days to contact Midnight Glamour about returning an item if they should want to.  International customers may have to pay be additional customs and import taxes and there maybe unforeseen customs delays.
