VINTAGE 1940s / 1950s LEVITON VANITY BEDROOM LAMP WITH BRILLIANT HANGING CRYSTAL PRISIMS

A lovely vintage 1940's / 1950S vanity boudoir lamp with sparkling hanging crystals prisims.

I found this treasure in an antique store in Georgia when I was living there. The lamp is beautiful when the light shines through the frosted etched and clear motif Colonial shade. The clear hobnail glass base adds interest and beauty to the lamp along with the brilliant sparkling crystal prisms.  When I found the lamp, the prisms were missing but I replaced them with brilliant faceted hanging crystal prisms which are really spectacular.

The lamp uses one bulb and I put in a chandelier bulb to see how the lamp looked and to make sure it was working which it was.  I will not include the bulb as it would probably get broken during transit. The shade area is a bit wobbley but it still works great. Maybe someone knows how to tighten it a bit more but just the same the slight bit of wobble does not affect the functioning of the lamp Push button to turn on and corded.
