*VINTAGE LILY OF FRANCE ROSA PULEO SZULE LACE PEIGNOIR NIGHTGOWN SET IN STARRY NIGHT

A lovely vintage silky peignoir and nightgown set by Rosa Puleo-Szule for Lily of France in a beautiful shade of light ivory called Starry Night.

The peignoir is lavished with scalloped lace down the front of the bodice, around the neck, sides and back. Raglan sleeves Silky smooth nylon in the peignoir and nightgown. Inside ties for a good fit with attached ties in front to tie in a bow. Full bias skirt for a lovely look.

The matching nightgown is absolutely beautiful and so feminine with the low cut "V" neckline surrounded with lace. More lace on either side of the bodice , under arms and around the back. Very full bias cut skirt on the nightgown. There is a lovely low cut "V" in back as well so you will look beautiful coming and going.

Size: Medium but go by the measurements and leave a few inches for movement. This was shown on a Size 6 model and it fit her very well without any excess room.

Shoulder to shoulder: Cannot measure because of the raglan sleeves

Waist: 37.5 and more if left open but remember that this is a wrap robe and part of the front has to go over the other side if you want it closed

Condition: Very good - some what looks like hanger soiling on the bottom of the peignoir hem and some on the gown. I am going to launder it now and see if it will come out. Not that noticeable unless you are closely examining it.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
