VINTAGE-LOOK LARGE DISTRESSED "AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CUISINE" WALL SIGN DECOR FOR KITCHEN

A large good weight wooden distressed vintage-look "Authentic Italian Cuisine" wall plaque in a chippycrackle-like finish. It has an "aged" look to it in a vintage off white or ivory with black ornate script lettering.  There is molding at the top of the sign which adds a lot of interest and a 3-D look to it.  The sign is in a neutral color palette and will fit into all kitchens.

I purchased this kitchen sign around 15 years ago from a company that made handmade signs and love the farmhouse vintage rustic look it gave my kitchen.  They did a beautiful job with the sign and it is superior quality heavy sign.  I did not use it for long, however, as we moved shortly after I purchased it. It was so long ago and so many things including 2 cross crounty moves have happened since then that I do not even remember where I bought it from.  I do a lot of decorating and change items frequently depending on the house I am living in at the time so I cannot remember where all my decorating items came from as I buy new ones frequently when I see something I would like for the house.

The measurements are approximately 29 -1/2" across the top -  a little over 16" high from the top to the point in the middle bottom - 13" on the sides and 1/2" thick.  It is a very good weight - not flimsy at all.  There are 3 sturdy hooks on the back to hang it. A little indentation and a very small chip on the back on one side which no one will ever see since it is on the back.  Scuffing on the back in places and some paint loss but unable to see when hanging since all the imperfections are on the back.  Imperfections cannot be seen when hanging.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
