*GLAMOROUS VINTAGE GRAND SWEEP EVENING GOWN ENCRUSTED WITH RHINESTONES, PEARLS, SILVER BEADS AND CRYSTALS WITH METAL ZIPPER IN PHARAOH'S GOLD
$ 299.99 $ 439.99
A gorgeous very glamorous vintage grand sweep evening gown encrusted with rhinestones, pearls, silvers beads and crystals. The evening gown is in a shade of gold called Pharaoh's Gold in a flowing jersey-like fabric.
It was hard to get the correct shade of gold on the photos but I tried to get as close as I could. Huge iridescent sparkling vintage prong-set 1/2" multi-faceted aurora borealis rhinestones in the center of the set-in jeweled cummerbund which sparkles brilliantly. Tons of prong-set rhinestones, pearls, clear crystal-like beads, strings of silver beads and round and elongated pearls in the cummerbund as well. The work and jeweled and pearl beading on the cummerbund is absolutely gorgeous and you will never find anything like this is the stores today. The ends of the sleeves are encrusted with 5 rows of round pearls and crystal-like beads with two fabric covered snaps for closure.
The bodice is lined. The dress is heavy because of all the fabric in the grand sweep skirt. Vintage metal zipper in back with a hook and eye. This evening gown reminds me of the evening gowns designed and made by Jack Bryan in the '60s / '70s.
Absolutely gorgeous for a formal affair, a ball, a cruise, mother of the bride or groom or any special formal event.

Approximate Measurements – This means the measurements of the item listed – not of your own figure. You must be a few inches smaller than the measurements shown.
Bust: 34
Shoulder to shoulder: 14-1/4
Sleeve from neck: 31 - 32
Waist: 29 with no give because of the heavy beading
Length: 53
Fabric: No tag but a silky jersey-like fabric that drapes beautiful as shown in the photos.
Care: No tag but dry clean
Condition: Very good although there are some imperfections which are small light colored pinkish spots on back right shoulder as well as on the front of the upper bodice on both sides which are hard to see in the photos (when I went to look for them just now, I could not see them but did when I was photographing the gown), some on the skirt as well but they fall into the folds and you will be wearing the gown at night so they probably would not even be noticeable. They did not show up well on the photos since they are fairly light. I tried to show the imperfections mostly in the last 3 photos but you can click on a photo and enlarge it to see better. Could be some loose or missing rhinestones, beads or pearls but there are so many there, they would not be noticed. Some small runs (longest one is 1-5/8") and a small hole on the lower skirt shown in photo which could be pulled together but they are far down and probably would not be noticeable when wearing as they fall into the folds as well especially at night.

Care Instructions
We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.
Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements. We hope you enjoy what you purchased but we know sometimes things do not fit quite as you would like or the color is wrong. In that case, we do allow one exchange or a store credit on any item that you want. There are about 2,000 items in the store and more are being added all the time so you have a large selection to choose from.
You must email before returning an item so I can give you the information that you need to exchange the item.
