* VINTAGE SARA BETH SATIN BRIDAL TROUSSEAU LACEY VICTORIAN-LOOK PEIGNOIR WITH APPLIQUES PEARLS

A beautiful bridal trousseau white satin peignoir is lacey with very delicate embroidery and miniature faux pearls. 

The peignoir has a Victorian look to it. The off white peignoir is dripping with lace down the front bodice and on the ends of sleeves.  Lots of floral embroidery in pink and mint green studded with pearls and swirls. 

Two pockets in the side seams.  Puffy sleeves with a little poof of neting at the shoulder top to puff out the top of the sleeves.  Sleeves are caught with elastic at the cuff which forms a ruffle trimmed with scalloped lace.  Wide set-in waistline in back.  Inside ties to secure with a attached tie belt which you will never lose.  Ties in a bow at the side.

Bust:  42 - 43 but remember that one side needs to fold over the other side
Shoulder to shoulder:  16
Sleeve from neck:  27 - 28
Length:  56 - 57
Fabric: The fabric tag is faded and cannot be read but it is silky poly satin.
Care: Hand or machine wash drip dry
Condition Good vintage with some imperfections.  A few of the tiny pearls are missing which is not noticeable.  There is a 2" place in the waist area where the lace has come away from the satin but it will just a few stitches to secure and the cleaners can do it if you are not inclined to do so. Elastic in the sleeves at the wrist area are stretched out.  Cleaner can replace that or just leave.  Some soiling on the peignoir close to the hemline which will probably come out with a wash.  Pilling that satin gets.  Price has been reduced for imperfections.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
