This is one of the prettiest and most sophisticated vintage dressing gowns / robe / nightgowns that I have seen by Ruth Norman.  It has a very feminine Victorian look to it which I just love.

Ruth Norman was a wonderful vintage designer who made exquisite and elegant nightgowns, lounge wear and dressing gowns and they sold at high end stores like Neiman Marcus.

This vintage dressing gown is in a luscious shade of teal called Verdigris in a poly Panne velvety no pile velour fabric.  The fabric has a wonderful feel to it.

This vintage dressing gown, robe or nightgown is the perfect thing to slip into after a hard day of work when you want to feel refreshed and gorgeous for the evening.  You know if these dressing gowns were sold at Neiman Marcus and other expensive stores that it will be beautiful as well as expensive.

The scalloped intricate 5-1/2" ivory lace around the neck and ends of the sleeves of this dressing gown is not only wide but soft and luxurious.  There is an invisible 13" zipper on the front of the dressing gown robe to make it easy to put on or take off.  2 pockets in the side seams.  Set in yolk in back with pleats under that for fullness in the dressing gown.

Just a gorgeous color in this Victorian look velvety velour dressing gown robe as one would expect from Ruth Norman.
