GORGEOUS VINTAGE EARLY '70s STYLED BY SCULLY SNOW QUEEN SUEDE & FUR COAT
A beautiful vintage early '70s Snow Queen suede & fur coat by Styled by Scully. I had one identical to this in the '70s except in a lighter shade of suede and it was so warm and gorgeous when I lived in the Mid-West.
The suede is soft & supple in a medium buckskin shade. I am not a fur expert but I think it is real fur shearling as the backing is suede. But whatever it is, it is a gorgeous coat.
Beautiful heavy copper satin lining. 2 side pockets in seams. Fur hooks on the front for closure. There was a tiny pin inside one of the sleeves with a thread which once held the hang tag which was never removed so maybe the coat was never worn as cannot imagine anyone wearing the coat with the string hanging out.
I tried this coat on since I had one like it in the '70s in Illinois and it will keep you very warm. You will look fabulous when wearing this gorgeous vintage coat!
By: Styled by Scully in Los Angeles
Fabric: No tag but suede
Size: 14 but that is vintage sizing and is definitely not a size 14. I wear a size 8 - 10 & closer to the size 10 & it fit me so will small sizes as well but not larger sizes but go by the measurements for the best fit
Bust: 41 all the way around
Shoulder to shoulder in back: nearly 17
Sleeve from neck to end of fur cuff: 27
Length: nearly 34-3/4
Care: No tag
Condition: Very good - store mark number on inside lining -some 1/2 eraser size spots on one arm which are not that noticeable and should come out with a cleaning or just forget it - the lower "eye" for the hook has come undone but that can be fixed with just a few stitches - easy fix

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.
Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements. We hope you enjoy what you purchased but we know sometimes things do not fit quite as you would like or the color is wrong.
