This is one of the most beautiful vintage nightgowns that I have ever seen and I have seen and sold hundreds of them.

You will look like a fairytale princess in this by Halston for Formfit nightgown.  It is so glamorous!  The nightgown is in mint green which is a very hard color to find in vintage gowns & it is composed of two layers of sheer nylon with the top layer sprinkled with flocked hearts. There are two big sheer ruffles around the neckline with the top layer being sheer over the layer of hearts on the 2nd layer.

The bodice has a bit of elastic under the bust line but the elastic has come apart with age but can be replaced very easily.  I would do it but the new owner should do it as they need to have the right amount of elastic that will make the elastic the perfect for them.  There is already a tiny slit on the underside of the bow inside where the elastic is to be threaded.

There is a grand sweep on the skirt of 142" or nearly 12 feet that billows around your legs!

The back of the nightgown is absolutely stunning with the V in back with the bias skirt flowing outward.

Absolutely gorgeous & dreamy!

By:  Halston for Formfit
Size:  Small
Bust:  37
Waist:  30 but if you put in new elastic it can be made smaller there
Length: 56
Fabric:  2 layers of 100% nylon
Condition:  Very good - on the top of both shoulder UNDER the 2 flounces, the seam has come open.  It is only a 1/2" & could be pulled together with a few stitches. - see photo - easy fix - a few tiny pinhead poles & a couple of double pinhead holes in the skirt which I only found because I held the gown up the light which cannot be seen because the skirt is so full - a tiny stain on under layer of skirt which no one would ever see - all tiny imperfections which is amazing for a gown of this age & not even worth mentioning as they are so minute.
Care:  Washable - I would not put into a washing machine for dryer but hand wash & drip dry

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
