VINTAGE FLORA NIKROOZ NEIMAN MARCUS BRIDAL TROUSSEAU WEDDING NIGHT CHIFFON, SATIN & PEARL STUDDED TULIP APPLIQUES PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SET
An absolutely gorgeous Flora Nikrooz bridal trousseau nightgown and peignoir set from Neiman Marcus with fabulous detailing. The Neiman Marcus label looks very much like the 1980’s label on the Vintage Fashion Guild site and my thanks to them for this wonderful resource.
The set is in an ivory cream shade in chiffon and satin. The sheer chiffon peignoir is adorned with satin shoulders with a sheer organza overlay studded with tulip and pearl appliques. There is a set-in large satin yolk in the back. Satin covered should pads for shaping. The billowing huge sleeves are magnificent with hundreds of tight chiffon pleats with a satin band at the wrist.
On one side of the nightgown’s bodice, it is identical to the peignoir design with the tulip and pearl sheer organza applique overlay over silky smooth ivory satin. These are sprinkled with iridescent sequins. The other side of the bodice has more tiny pleats like the peignoir’s sleeves. There is satin piping trim under the arms and around the back. Exquisite detailing. The front of the bodice of the gown is lined. There are wide chiffon straps on the gown. The bodice dips to a V in front with sheer filmy chiffon below that. The skirt is designed to be longer in front and back for a glimpse of leg on the sides. The back of the gown is smooth satin with more chiffon below.
Flora Nikrooz can be compared in quality and beautiful to the wonderful Diane Samandi Jonquil nightgowns. There is beautiful detailing on this gorgeous feminine nightgown by Flora Nikrooz from Neiman Marcus and was a very expensive set when purchased as one would expect from Neiman‘s. Absolutely gorgeous!

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.
Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
