EXQUISITE VINTAGE' 60s / '70s GEORGETTE TRABOLSI PLEATED BED JACKET WITH BOW IN PEACH BLOSSOM
An exquisite vintage tons of pleats bed jacket by Georgette Trabolsi in a luscious shade called Peach Blossom.
Georgette Trabolsi was a very well known designer in the '60s and '70s and made the most beautiful robes, peignoir sets and nightgowns. They were sold in only very high-end stores.
The luxurious bed jacket is dripping with pleats in front as well as the back. The fabric has a creamy silky feeling and is adorned with a pleated bow at the neckline. Snap at the top for closure with one underneath as well.
This is probably one of the most gorgeous bed jackets that I have ever seen since I started selling vintage clothing 21 years ago! Just exquisite over vintage and contemporary nightgowns as well as your lounging pants outfits. So elegant and feminine - one never sees bed jackets like this nowadays! A rare find!
By: Georgette Trabolsi
Size: Small but I am a larger Size 10 and it fit me but will not fit larger because the armholes would be too tight. Go by the measurements rather than the size.
Approximate Measurements – This means the measurements of the item listed – not of your own figure. You must be a few inches smaller than the measurements shown.
Bust: 46 from the seam under the armhole side to side
Shoulder to shoulder: Cannot measure because of the way it has been cut
Length: 24 but it varies in length as it is longer in some areas
Fabric: Creamy and silky poly
Care: Washable & drip dry - do not dry clean as it will take the pleats out
Condition: Very good - looks as though it may not have been worn - 1/2 of a snap missing on the underside (can't be seen as it is under the top flap) and needs a new 1/2 snap to be sewed on

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
