SOLD - VINTAGE HOLLYWOOD VASSERETTE PEIGNOIR WITH FREE PINK INTIME NIGHTGOWN
A beautiful & unique vintage ‘60s /‘70s double nylon peignoir by Hollywood Vasserette accented with a pink rose.
A very unique color for the sheer double nylon peignoir in Gray Pearl & Rosebud Pink. Wide collar adorned with a gray & pink rose & leaves. 3 self-covered buttons with loops for closure. The inner layer of sheer nylon in the peignoir has a slight pink cast to blend with the rose. I love the old sheer embroidered manufacturer’s tag on the peignoir.
I am including a FREE nightgown which is by Intime which is one of the best brands of nightgowns & peignoir sets from the ‘50s. It is not the matching nightgown if there ever was one but it blends well with the peignoir AND I AM INCLUDING THIS NIGHTGOWN AT NO CHARGE.
There are imperfections in the double nylon nightgown and I didn’t want to charge anything because of all the imperfections. So I am only charging for the peignoir but I did want to include a nightgown to go with the peignoir and the color of this one looks best.
There is a sheer layer of pink nylon over slinky nylon with pale pink satin piping around the neck of the gown, the back & the straps. Large ecru lace hem.
By: Hollywood Vasserette
Size: No tag so go by the measurements
Bust 44 & more if left open which is the prettiest way to wear a peignoir
Sleeve from neck: 21-3/4
Condition: Mfg tag needs a couple of stitches to secure, ¼” at the end of one sleeve needs a couple of stitches, picks in the peignoir & collar but probably not noticeable at night.
Size: Cannot read the tag
Care: No tag but hand wash/drip dry
Condition: THE NIGHTGOWN IS A FREE ITEM SINCE THERE IS DAMAGE TO IT BUT GOES WELL WITH THE PEIGNOIR - Hem is out in the LINING of the nightgown which no one would notice, black store mark on the INSIDE of the back of the gown which does not show through, quite a few picks in the gown which you can see when holding up to the light but if not doing that and especially at night, they probably would not be noticed unless really looking for them, 3-½” split in the fabric towards the lower back of the nightgown which can be seen in the photo and could be pulled together with some stitches, former owner took in 16” of the seam of the top layer of the gown on the right hand side under the arm for some unknown reason. - THE NIGHTGOWN IS A FREE ITEM - YOU ARE ONLY PAYING FOR THE PEIGNOIR.

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.
Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
