*VINTAGE SHADOWLINE BRIDAL TROUSSEAU DOUBLE NYLON & LACE PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SET IN BRIDAL VEIL

A beautiful feminine vintage lacey bridal trousseau peignoir and nightgown set in a shade called Bridal Veil.

Wide lace on the bodice of the sheer double nylon peignoir with a bow at the waist with 2 snaps for closure - there is a bit of tiny elastic around the waist for a good fit - the double nylon sleeves are huge and almost make for a cape-like effect over the peignoir - set in yolk in back with gathered fullness under it.

The matching nightgown is double nylon in a substantial weight with a layer of sheer nylon over slinky nylon for a beautiful and filmy look - the surplice bodice on the gown is gorgeous with sheer lace and lace appliques over the double nylon bodice - there is a white satin ribbon under the bust along with long white satin ribbons which tie in the back - the ribbons travel around to the back where there is a loop to go through and tie in a bow - the back has 2 lovely lace appliques on the double nylon sheer back - one of them is placed on the surplice back of the gown where it laps over to the other side which makes for a very pretty look - full skirt on the gown to swirl around you when walking - wide 2” hem on the nightgown.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful and I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully and check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
