* GORGEOUS RARE, RARE VINTAGE ROVEL DOUBLE NYLON DRIPPING IN LUSCIOUS ECRU LACE NIGHTGOWN & PEIGNOIR IN TANZANITE

$ 999.99

A gorgeous color in this vintage double nylon lacey peignoir & nightgown set by Rovel of California in a rare shade called Tanzanite

This is a deep, deep rich periwinkle jewel-tone shade which is so hard to find - the pastel sets are more common & a bit easier to find but even now, they are not in abundance but the deep jewel-tone colors especially in purple shades are almost impossible to find nowadays

You know the exquisite quality of Intime & Jenelle & Rovel is in the same category with its wonderful workmanship & details

The peignoir & nightgown are dripping in vintage ecru lace which makes for a beautiful color combination - the lace is gathered tightly on the peignoir & nightgown necklines which makes it very ruffly & elegant - both the peignoir & nightgown are adorned with tanzanite nylon piping & a tie which forms a bow - the ecru lace is very soft & drapes beautifully from the collar & the ends of the sleeves which makes it very elegant

The peignoir has double nylon feminine puffy baby doll sleeves adorned with scalloped ecru floral lace - the full sweep peignoir is adorned with a hem of tightly gathered ruffley ecru lace for a perfect finish - the peignoir has 2 layers of sheer nylon which will float beautifully behind you when walking

The sheer double nylon matching nightgown is equally beautiful with all of the ruffled scalloped ecru lace spilling from the neckline front & back - more tanzanite piping on the lace - 2 layers of sheer nylon in the gown - the hemline is finished with a ruffley nylon flounce hem for a very feminine look

Just a beautiful very unique peignoir & nightgown set by Rovel in Tanzanite

By Rovel of California
Size medium & should fit other sizes as well as there is a lot of room in these sets as they were very generous with the double nylon

Peignoir:
Bust all the way around 56
Length 53

Nightgown:
Bust 43 - 46 stretched tight
Armhole 22-1/2 & can be made large by splitting open the side seam under the arm & re-sewing it - no one would notice as your arm will be over it
Length 52-3/4
Fabric double nylon- 4 layers of sheer nylon
Care tag says machine wash & dry & cool iron but i would definitely hand wash drip dry
Do not put in the washer or dryer as they ruin vintage double nylon sets & definitely do not use an iron on these vintage sets
I use a steamer but an iron would ruin them
Condition - on the peignoir, there are a few small tiny picks which will not be noticed unless holding the sheer nylon up to the light - on the gown, there are picks & an area several inches below the hip area on the left back with some tiny holes on the top layer of nylon as shown in the photo -I nearly missed them until I held the gown up to the light - since the color is fairly dark.  No one would probably ever see them & they could be pulled together or just left as is - the price has been adjusted for these small imperfections

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
