*FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION - VINTAGE DESIGNER VERA MAXWELL PEACH ULTRASUEDE CLUTCH COAT - PERFECT FOR SPRING, SUMMER & EARLY FALL

$ 149.99 $ 299.99

From my own personal collection, a gorgeous vintage skinner ultrasuede duster clutch coat by designer Vera Maxwell Original

The wonderful ultrasuede fabric was made famous in the ‘70s by Bill Blass & is washable - when i bought this ultrasuede coat, it was quite dirty so i thought i would trying washing it - i was really a bit concerned about doing so as i knew it was vintage & wasn’t sure how it would really react to a machine washing it’s hard to believe but all the soiling which looked as though it had been dropped on the floor in addition to hanger soiling which is the hardest to get out actually came out & it washed beautifully!

These lovely vintage unltrasuede coats were only sold at high end stores & were very expensive in the ’70s

This vintage ultrasuede coat is in a beautiful shade of peach which is perfect for spring & summer - this is a clutch coat & it is called that because there are no buttons on the coat & one “clutches” the coat to keep it closed - i have always loved clutch coats - they are so versatile & one can wear them with so many different things & they look gorgeous with long gloves - they look just as great with an cocktail dress as they do with slacks or jeans

Large curved lapels on the coat - big patch pockets on the front of the soft ultrasuede fabric - ¾ wide sleeves perfect for wearing your long gloves with it - unlined so it can be washed - 13-½” slits on the sides for ease in walking - there is an old faded ladies garment workers tag inside

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
