VINTAGE '40s / '50s BLACK & PINK FLORAL BOUQUETS COCKTAIL DRESS WITH RHINESTONES UNIQUE NECKLINE METAL ZIPPER GORGEOUS PINK LINED POCKETS LARGER SIZE

I love the color combination of black and pink colors with large bouquets of flowers scattered over the full circle dress.  This is one of the prettiest cocktail dress that I have seen!

Pink facings around the neckline, armholes and pockets which are just beautiful!  The dress has little ribbons with snaps at the shoulder area to hold your bra straps in place and one rarely see those "extras" like you do in this vintage dress.  Also, black ribbons to slip on a hanger to keep the dress from falling off.

The neckline is so unique the the way it was cut with the pink facing as well as two dome shaped black buttons adorned with rhinestones.  There is Pellon underneath the front neckline to give it support, structure and a fine finish so it does not flop over. The triangular pockets are huge and deep with a pink lining inside as well as underneath the flap.  The dress has a full circle skirt.  Metal zipper on the side.
 
Absolutely one of the most beautiful detailed cocktail dresses that I have ever seen and I have seen and sold a lot of them in my 25 years of doing so!

Size: No tag just a shred of one but measures like a large size so go by the measurements 
Bust: 40-1/2  (there is no stretch to this fabric so you should be a couple of inches smaller than the measurements)
Waist:  33 (there is no stretch to this fabric so you should be a couple of inches smaller than the measurements)
Length from top of shoulder: 43 - 44
Fabric: No tag but feels like a cotton or poly fabric but no stretch to the fabric.
Care: No tag so I would probably dry clean to keep it looking nice and the dry cleaner always presses it beautifully. 
Very good - the 2 rhinestone buttons at the neckline are missing one small rhinestone in each button.  Very easy to replace and actually, no one would ever know they were missing unless very closely examining the dress.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower. Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it. The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
