ONE OF THE LOVIEST VINTAGE PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SETS BY MY FAVORITE VINTAGE DESIGNER "EYE FUL" BY THE "FLAUMS" - EYE FUL MADE THE MOST UNIQUE & GORGEOUS GOWNS & SETS YEARS AGO & YOU JUST DON’T FIND THIS KIND OF DETAILING IN SETS TODAY OR IN OTHER VINTAGE MANUFACTURERS GOWNS & PEIGNOIRS - A GORGEOUS PINK SET LAVISHED WITH PINK SATIN RIBBONS & APPLE BLOSSOM APPLIQUES - THE FABRIC IS WONDERFUL IS SILKY SMOOTH RAYON WHICH IS SO HARD TO FIND - THE SET EVEN HAS THE TINY PINKED SEAMS WHICH IS SOOO VINTAGE - SHEER SLEEVES ON THE PEIGNOIR ADORNED WITH HEAVILY EMBROIDERED APPLIQUES - PINK DOUBLE SIDED SATIN RIBBON WHICH ONE CAN NO LONGER FIND IN THE STORES SURROUNDS THE NECK & AROUND THE ARMS - TINY BUTTON & LOOP FOR CLOSURE AT THE NECK - GRAND SWEEP ON THE PEIGNOIR FOR LOTS OF FULLNESS WHICH WILL FLOAT AFTER YOU WHEN WALKING - THE PEIGNOIR IS 234” OR NEARLY 20 FEET OF SILKY RAYON - THE BACK OF THE PEIGNOIR IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS WITH THE BIG PINK SATIN RIBBON BOW - EYE FUL IS KNOWN FOR THEIR EXQUISITE DETAILING & A LOT OF THE SETS & GOWNS THAT I HAVE OWNED HAVE BOWS ON THE BACK WHICH IS A BEAUTIFUL & UNEXPECTED TOUCH - MANUFACTURERS JUST DO NOT DETAIL SETS NOWADAYS AS THEY DID THE VINTAGE ONES AS IT IS NOT COST EFFECTIVE FOR THEM & IT IS JUST NOT DONE - THE GOWN IS EQUALLY BEAUTIFUL WITH A RUCHED SET-IN BODICE & MORE APPLE BLOSSOM APPLIQUES - SATIN RIBBON UNDER THE BUST WHICH TRAVLES AROUND TO THE BACK TO TIE IN A BOW - VERY GRAND SWEEP OF 138” OR NEARLY 12 FEET ON THE SILKY SKIRT WITH THE RARE, RARE LARGE SCALLOPED HEM WHICH EYE FUL DOES SO BEAUTIFULLY - JUST AN EXQUISITE ONE-OF-A-KIND VINTAGE PEIGNOIR & GOWN SET BY EYE FUL ADORNED WITH APPLE BLOSSOMS THAT YOU WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN

Peignoir

Bust: all the way around 66
Length: 46-3/4

Nightgown

Bust: 34 - 39 stretched tight
UNDER Bust where the satin ribbon is & where it will be the tightest on one: 29 unstretched
Waist: 22 - 33 stretched tight
Length: 44-1/2
Fabric: No tag but silky smooth hard-to-find rayon
Care: I would hand wash & drip dry
Condition: Very good vintage with a couple of small imperfections - satin ribbon has faded somewhat but is still pretty & that has to be expected in vintage & is part of the charm of the vintage items - you don‘t want a vintage item to look as though you just bought it at the mall - a couple of small vertical 1-½” spot on the peignoir lower front which falls into the folds - a couple of light small spots on the skirt of the peignoir which no one would notice - some smaller light spots under the bow in back on the peignoir which the bow will hide - 1 pinhead black & some dot size spots on the back of a sleeve - these may come out with an oxy soak but I don‘t know for sure as I didn‘t try

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect.  Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear.  We always list the obvious staining/spotting/discoloration and damage/defects to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing.
